Jolene Pellant started her career in the music business at the age of19 at the legendary Los Angeles rock radio station, KLOS. While pursuing a degree in Communications with a Film emphasis at CSU Northridge, Pellant simultaneously worked at the radio station and at Pop Art Film Factory as a music video editor. There she edited videos for such notable artists as The Bodeans, Kristin Hersh (Throwing Muses), WC and The Madd Circle (for which her video went to number one on MTV) among others.
After a brief stint heading up marketing at Los Angeles Alt-Rock station, Y107, Pellant landed the position of Director of Marketing and Promotions at Los Angeles based promoter, Avalon Attractions/Clear Channel Entertainment - later Live Nation. In 2004, she was promoted to Vice President of National marketing for Live Nation, overseeing national marketing efforts and working on tour marketing for such artists as Aerosmith, Fiona Apple, Journey, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Damien Rice, Chicago, Backstreet Boys, Stevie Nicks, Don Henley and many others. In 2006, Pellant joined veteran artist manager, Mike Gormley to form Los Angeles-based management/marketing/music publishing company, Yes Dear Entertainment.
