Daryl Berg

Daryl Berg is currently FUEL TV’s Director, Music Supervision & Licensing. In this role, he works on everything from music marketing, music supervision, licensing, band booking and anything else music related the network needs accomplished.
In the past six years at FUEL TV, he’s licensed over 30,000 tracks for usage, booked over 350 artists for television performances as well and executed numerous music marketing programs.

Prior to working at FUEL TV, Berg was the co-creator of a company called Crusty Old Timer, Inc. that handled music supervision and music placement. At Crusty, he helped launch FUEL TV, handling the network’s music supervision.

Daryl moved to Los Angeles with EMI Recorded Music where he was Director, Business Development, New Media. He began his professional career as the minority founder and VP, Strategic Development of The Orchard, a digital and physical music distribution company.

He attended the University at Albany, where through college radio and microbrew, he learned the fine art of drunken snobbery. He continued his academic career by earning his law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City

Born on Long Island, New York, Daryl was saved from hair-metal, bad classic rock and Billy Joel by The Replacements, REM, The Clash and Elvis Costello. In Daryl’s spare time, he belies his NYC downtown roots by obsessively playing bad golf, hiking and spending way too much money in restaurants.
