The Dfest Yoga Conference allows participants, whether beginner or experienced, to design their very own mind-body exploration into the various styles of yoga and other disciplines such as tai chi, meditation and sound therapy.
The DFest Yoga Conference is comprised of lectures, panel discussions, and demonstrations that all levels of yoga practitioners will find both inspirational and instructive. Lectures and panel discussion with the state’s very own yoga and conscious living experts will include such topics as: What is Yoga?, The Eight Limbs, Yoga and Tai Chi: East Meets West, Conscious Consumption and more! Yoga demonstrations, small-group intensives with experienced instructors, and yoga classes accompanied by live musical performances will be held in the Tulsa Ballroom. Smaller classes and workshops will be offered throughout the two day conference in quiet, more intimate settings and will include various styles of yoga, meditation, and acoustic musical performances for personal practice.
There are five main areas for the Yoga Conference.
Classes set to live musical performances by Dfest bands, small-group intensives with experienced yogis, and demonstrations of the different styles of yoga.
Expert led workshops for the beginner or the experienced in a safe, supportive work-shop environment.
Dedicated to mindful silence, as well as, sound and tucked away from the immediate excitement to meet meditation needs; features opportunities for personal practice with acoustic accompaniment
Panel discussions and lectures from local, well-known instructors and experts in conscious living.
Tai Chi and other yoga activities, including drum circles you can join in on the fun.
