Using nationally recognized models for teaching in schools, residential programs to students, staff and teachers, we will explore poses, games and "time-in" techniques for incorporating yoga into children's programming.

Kundalini Sadhana guided by Gwen Ingram
Sadhana means daily practice.  Kundalini yoga as brought to us by Yogi Bhajan includes a poem called JapJi to begin the day, written by Guru Nanak.  Then as vigorous Kundalini Yoga set; followed by 7 chanted meditations called the Aquarian Sadhana, which lasts an hour.

Tai chi / Ba Gua with Adam Green
Relieve stress, maintain optimum health, boost immunity and energy, increase mental clarity, develop improved sense of balance and coordination with this gentle form of exercise.  Classes will include participation and discussion of various Tai Chi Gung exercises, meditations, and philosophies.

Explore many aspects of each energy center.  Posture practice specific to each chakra and activities that will provide a deeper understanding and experience of the chakra. Toning and singing crystal bowl accompaniment to encourage connection and balance within the chakra and the system as a whole.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga will be instructed by internationally known yogi Andrew Eppler.  He will instruct this classical, structured approach to the physical postures in yoga. The precise synchronization of breath and movement is the main characteristic of this style of yoga practice. Using this method, heat and sweat are generated and this plays an important part in cleansing the body and developing flexibility.

Famed Tulsa street drummer Jascha Tobias joins guitarist Steve Conley as they provide the "jam" for yoga jam.

Thomas Thompson will approach this hatha yoga practice from the perspective of muscular balance.  As babies we had all the range of motion that we'll ever have in a lifetime and the reason being was neurological muscular balance.  Over a lifetime certain larger muscles over-powered smaller ones and little by little we lost range of motion.  Our goal will be to use our yoga practice to work towards restoring that balance.
