What types of vendors will be on hand? Will they be reasonably priced?
There will be a variety of vendors in the Dfest Event Site that will provide a variety of interesting, diverse, and reasonably priced food and beverages. Vendors on the site will be providing late lunch, dinner and late night snacks. Additionally, there will be a reasonably priced late-night breakfast bar at the Crowne Plaza Hotel from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. nightly and free black coffee in the Crown Plaza Lower Lobby from 11:00 p.m.-4:00 a.m. nightly if you need a late-night pickup before heading home after the festival. There are great restaurants in the Blue Dome District as well that will have food and beverages for sale during the event. For health and quality reasons, unauthorized food vendors pose a risk to festival goers. Unauthorized food vendors are not permitted and will be shut down to alleviate that risk.
Can you send me info on becoming a vendor at Dfest 2009?
To get info on becoming a vendor at Dfest 2008 you will need to email us at vending@dfest.com to request to download the vendor information and complete the application form. Send the completed application via U.S. Mail to the address indicated in the information packet. Applications must be received by July 1, 2008 to be included in the initial review and acceptance process. Applications will continue to be accepted after July 1until all spaces are filled.. E-mail applications will not be accepted. If you have questions, please include them with your application.
What types of other Vendors will be onsite?
There will be a variety of vendors selling high quality crafts, merchandise and Dfest memorabilia. Each year Dfest is committed to selecting quality merchandise vendors. The unauthorized sale of merchandise in the event site is not permitted, and Dfest is committed to ensuring a successful event for the authorized vendors of Dfest.
Additionally there will be Dfest artists selling their merchandise and we encourage you to support the Dfest artists by buying their merch. Dfest artists will be selling merch in their performance venues and the main two outdoor festival areas will have a central artist merchandise area. As well as the Dfest information booth will have Dfest memorabilia for sale.
